- Continuous Power with Solar Panels: Equipped with a high-efficiency lithium battery and a solar panel, the sensor’s RTU is designed for low-power consumption. When fully charged, it can operate for over 180 consecutive rainy days without interruption.
- Integrated GPRS/4G Module and Server Software: The sensor includes a GPRS/4G wireless module and comes with server software that enables real-time data viewing on a web platform. Additional capabilities, such as GPS positioning and parameter expansion, are also available.
- Customizable Depths: The sensor’s modular design is flexible which allows soil temperature and humidity measurement at customizable depths between 10-80 cm (default depths: 10 cm layers). Standard configurations include 4-layer, 5-layer, or 8-layer pipes.

Choosing the Installation Site:
- In hilly regions, select areas with minimal slopes and avoid valleys or steep gradients.
- In plains, choose flat areas that do not retain water.
- For hydrological station use, install the sensor in open spaces away from buildings or fences.

Step-by-Step Installation Process:
1. Select a flat site and drill a hole in the ground, ensuring the depth is 7-8 cm deeper than the sensor’s target measurement depth.
2. Sieve the extracted soil and prepare mud.
3. Partially fill the drilled hole with mud, covering at least two-thirds of the hole’s depth.
4. Insert the sensor into the mud-filled hole, ensuring the marked horizon line is level with the ground.
