The 8 in 1 Soil Sensor is an advanced solution for precise soil monitoring, capable of measuring eight critical parameters simultaneously: moisture, temperature, electrical conductivity (EC), salinity, pH, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K).

This high-sensitivity sensor helps optimize irrigation, improve soil health, and support scientific research with real-time data access via GPRS, 4G, Wi-Fi, LoRa, or LoRaWAN. Paired with compatible servers and software, it enables real-time data access on a PC.

Product Usage 

 

Soil Surface measure method 

  1. Choose a representative soil sample area and clear away debris and vegetation. 
  2. Insert the sensor vertically and fully into the soil. 
  3. Relocate if hard objects obstruct the insertion, and repeat the measurement.
  4. For more reliable data, measure at multiple points and calculate the average.

Buried measure method 

  1. Create a vertical soil profile slightly deeper than the sensor’s lowest installation depth, about 20–50 cm in diameter. 
  2. Insert the sensor horizontally into the soil profile. 
  3. Refill the excavated soil in layers, compacting it to ensure horizontal placement. 
  4. To maintain soil moisture consistency, bag and label removed soil for reverse backfill if feasible.

Measure notes 

  1. Use the sensor in environments with 20–25% soil humidity. 
  2. Ensure all probes are fully inserted into the soil during use. 
  3. Protect the sensor from excessive heat and lightning. 
  4. Avoid pulling or striking the sensor or its wires. 
  5. Rated IP68, allowing immersion in water. 
  6. Do not leave the sensor powered in open air for extended periods due to electromagnetic radiation interference.
