Product Usage
Soil Surface measure method
- Choose a representative soil sample area and clear away debris and vegetation.
- Insert the sensor vertically and fully into the soil.
- Relocate if hard objects obstruct the insertion, and repeat the measurement.
- For more reliable data, measure at multiple points and calculate the average.


Buried measure method
- Create a vertical soil profile slightly deeper than the sensor’s lowest installation depth, about 20–50 cm in diameter.
- Insert the sensor horizontally into the soil profile.
- Refill the excavated soil in layers, compacting it to ensure horizontal placement.
- To maintain soil moisture consistency, bag and label removed soil for reverse backfill if feasible.

Measure notes
- Use the sensor in environments with 20–25% soil humidity.
- Ensure all probes are fully inserted into the soil during use.
- Protect the sensor from excessive heat and lightning.
- Avoid pulling or striking the sensor or its wires.
- Rated IP68, allowing immersion in water.
- Do not leave the sensor powered in open air for extended periods due to electromagnetic radiation interference.
